Lucy - Nine Months

Time really is a strange concept. At times it seems that it could not move slower, and then there are the times it seems to warp by.

We have now warped into little Lucy's 9th month of life. Lucy was such a blast to work with during this session. Her beautiful smile, sweet eyes, and fun loving personality really made the time fun. I continue to be amazed at the connection between Summer and Lucy; they have such a beautiful bond. Even Karis joined in. She helped with the pictures by getting her little sister to smile. Lucy is no longer bothered by my camera. In fact, a few times she was ready to grab it and start shooting pictures herself. :) It seems like just yesterday that Lucy was not even able to hold her head up, and now she sits by herself and is working on the whole crawling concept. The first year of life is incredible.

Thanks Summer and Josh for allowing me another opportunity to capture some moments in your lives. I am already looking forward to our photo session when Lucy turns one. I hope you enjoy your pictures. I adore you all!

Dolly's Boudoir Portraits

I recently had the pleasure of doing my first boudoir session with an amazing woman. Dolly was such a trooper and divinely patient with me as the session unfolded. We did the photo session at the Johnson's Country Inn. The bed and breakfast was beautiful, a great little get away spot. Dolly did a fantastic job posing for the photos. She is a natural beauty. Thanks for trusting me to do your portraits Dolly, I had a blast. I hope you enjoy the book!

Jared and Cynthia: TWIRPS Portraits

My nephew Jared asked me to take pictures of him and his date for the TWIRPS dance. Cynthia was beautiful, and Jared cleaned up pretty well too. Crystal and I photographed the flower exchange, and then we created some casual portraits. We had a lot of fun and laughed a lot. Thanks for letting us be your photographers, Jared!

Crystal Headshot

I was taking some headshots of my lovely wife last week. I ended up with my favorite picture of her of all time, and I wanted to share it here. Isn't she simply beautiful?

Tyler

Sometimes, inspiration strikes, and last week I came up with the idea of blessing a very nice young man with a complimentary portrait session. Among Tyler's many strengths is his theatrical ability, which became apparent during the photo session. It is my sincere hope that Tyler will enjoy his portraits for many years to come. Thanks, Tyler, for allowing me the privilege of photographing you.
