Lassen National Park Snow - Divine Reflections Photography Blog

Lassen National Park Snow

On Martin Luther King, Jr's birthday, my wife and I took our children to Lassen Volcanic National Park to go sledding. I took my camera gear along. That turned out to be a good decision as the park had gotten around 2 feet of fresh snow the day before. We walked up the packed snow that covered the main park road, and I found this composition of the snow-covered mountain and trees. Some fog floated in for a finishing touch.

This image was made with my Mamiya RB67, Mamiya 127mm lens, and Fuji Velvia.
