OSP West - Napa
Number 90 on my 101 Things list is to attend an OSP event with Crystal. We were blessed to be able to attend the OSP West conference in Napa a couple of weeks ago. We were also thrilled to be able to take Ariana along as she is interested in learning more about photography.
Before I jump into the photos we took over the weekend, I'd like to say thanks to Chris and Jen Stewart, Beth Daane, and Tana Huffman for all of the time and effort spent in organizing this conference. They worked hard to make the conference a success, and I appreciate it immensely!
OK. Now I'll get to the pictures.
Saturday morning, we went to the old train station in Rutherford to find a collection of senior girls waiting to be photographed. Nathan Holritz, Kevin Swan, and Shaun Austin talked a little bit about shooting in midday sun and then turned us loose with the models.
Bridal and Wedding Couple Shoot
Sunday afternoon, we met at the V. Sattui winery for a bridal shoot with another collection of models. The winery graciously let us go pretty much wherever we wanted to do. We explored the mustard-filled vineyards and the beautiful architecture of the winery.
Photographers Behind the Scenes
A favorite pastime at this sort of event is taking pictures of other photographers. Some are suitable for blackmail, and others are serious portraits. We took our share of behind the scenes photos on this trip.
